Testimonials
Androfill reviews — and where to read them independently.
New Zealand rules on advertising medical procedures limit what a clinic may publish about patient experiences. Rather than work around that, here is a straight explanation — and where you can read independent, verifiable reviews for yourself.
Why we don't publish patient testimonials
Advertising for medical procedures in New Zealand is governed by the Advertising Standards Authority's Therapeutic and Health Advertising Code, alongside the Medical Council's standards on advertising. Between them, they place real limits on testimonials: they must not create unrealistic expectations, must not be used to imply a typical or guaranteed outcome, and must not exploit a patient's vulnerability.
Penis enlargement is precisely the kind of procedure where a glowing testimonial can mislead. Results vary from man to man depending on starting anatomy, filler volume and healing. A hand-picked quote from a delighted patient tells you nothing reliable about what you would get — which is why we would rather show you measured outcomes and honest limitations instead.
What we do publish instead
Measured before-and-after photography. Consented, unedited, matched lighting and angle, with the filler volume and the actual circumference change stated for each patient. That is checkable; a testimonial is not.
What the procedure cannot do. Filler adds girth. It does not reliably add erect length, and we say so on every relevant page.
The published evidence. Peer-reviewed studies and professional-society positions, including the ones that are critical.
Where to read independent reviews
These are outside our control, which is what makes them worth reading. We cannot edit, curate or remove them.
Press coverage
Independent journalism about Androfill and the procedure. This is coverage of the Androfill group internationally, not of New Zealand patients specifically.
A patient, David Brian, wrote about his experience of treatment with Dr Horn in the book Micropenis: The Long and Short of It (2014). Further press coverage, including The Guardian, the Daily Mail and NetDoctor, is collected on the Androfill UK site.
What our record actually is
Verifiable facts carry more weight than adjectives.
